What is vibration therapy?

Vibration therapy was created as far back as 1867 by Gustav Zander, a Russian physician, who created a mechanism out of pulleys and weights that created a sense of vibration. Later on, Dr. John Harvey Kellog, in 1895, implemented the idea of vibration therapy in his practice using a vibrating chair design. He believed it alleviated constipation and improved circulation.

Eventually, vibration therapy found its way into the Russian space program where it was used to strengthen astronauts' bones and muscle mass. NASA still uses vibration therapy today for the same reasons.
Apppointment Details

A $75.00 deposit is required for all first-time appointments; a $50.00 deposit is required for all consultations without a body wrap appointment.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: A minimum of 24 hours are required.

How does vibration therapy work?

Vibration therapy comes in two main types, localized and whole body.

When vibrations are sent through your body, it causes the muscles to tense and relaxes. While some vibrations are believed to cause your body to produce osteoblasts, the cells that produce bone.
What are the risks of vibration therapy?
Vibration therapy is only dangerous if the vibrations are too high. Additionally, it is advised to avoid vibration therapy if:
- are pregnant
- are taking blood-thinning medication
- have heart disease
